. Hilary . the baby-BUMP .

Mom's to be have a unique glow, that is very difficult to describe.  If you have been in the presence of a woman during her pregnancy, you know what I'm talking about.  Every woman is different, some are calm, cool, and collected and others well, might be a little nervous, anxious, or even frustrated with how large she is getting.  However, one thing is certain, they glow and every day that passes they keep getting more beautiful.  I know there are plenty of pregnant women out there that might say otherwise, but from an outsiders perspective, pregnancy is a beautiful thing.

This is Hilary, and I believe the word glow is an understatement.  I'm not sure if any words can describe her beauty at this unique time in her life.  She is radiating such calm and peaceful energy.  Being in her presence is a special thing.  Her laugh hasn't changed, nor her smile, or mannerisms but one thing has definietly changed and that is her belly.  (you're probably saying to me, well duh!)

This is part one of Hilary + Nick's maternity session and it is predominantly filled with...drumroll please...her baby-bump!  Yes, I'm kind of a dork.  I get a little, lets rephrase that, I get really excited to share the images I have produced from a session.  I love this woman and appreciate her trusting in me more than she'll know.

Below, is one of my favorites.  When I took the photo, I did not realize how much I liked it.  The pre-processed version had some distractions including a lovely red mini-van from the 1980's showing through the window.  When I was taking it, Nick laughed and asked if I could get the sweet van in the background.  He of course was joking, but in reality, I got it. Yayyy, not.  With a few changes it has turned into one of my favorites.  The double lighting source makes it unique, one from the window and one from a lamp behind her.  I just love it!

Isn't her belly adorable?  This is just part one of their session.  Keep checking back for more updates.

Feel free to leave some love for this mommy-to-be!

Caitlyn Marie . Free Spirit + Hippie Life . Peshastin, WA

I set out with this dream in mind, to become a photographer.  The term is used pretty loosely these days, "I'm a photographer."  However, aren't we all?  We all take pictures in our minds and with our cameras whether it be an iphone or a fancy DSLR and we store them in our memory bank.  We cherish those special moments, that is photography.  If it looks good to you and evokes emotion and energy, that is all that matters.  So maybe, what I am aspiring to become is an artist of imagery and energy.  I dream of capturing energy in it's most raw form and sharing it with the world.  This is my passion.  It is an art, and I love to share it with anyone who is interested.  I'm guessing, if you're reading this, you are interested. :)

Well, here she is.  Pure beauty and raw energy, from Miss Caitlyn Marie.  We had ourselves a fabulous time playing in the light and giggling over some ridiculous conversation ranging from college life to boys to volleyball. ( I used to be Caitlyn's volleyball coach)  I hope you enjoy these photos, how can you not when you have her to look at?!

As usual, leave some love!

Up next on the blog, a maternity session with two beautiful and fun people.  I am excited to share their session soon.

xoxo
